ATC: How It All Started in a Small Bulgarian Workshop
ATC is a small workshop manufacturing company that provides solution for repair kits and refurbishing automotive and motorcycle parts. We are situated in the north-east side of Bulgaria in a small town Silistra near Danube river. We would like to share our ideas world-wide and help those who need sustainable solutions.
Working with my grandfather in his old workshop full with basic manifacturing machines was my first exprirence with machining. He was master engeneer for more than 50 years with great skills and he was my best teacher.
Figuring out how to replace with better version of the OEM parts, was not an easy task. But for us it was everyday challange. Every repair kit is made with materials that combine great properties.
I think that sharing this knowledge is not only just metal or plastic parts but also an upgrade that has sustainable and safety properties on the road.
First Project of our repair kits was on BMW R1200 throttle aluminium pulley
This photo was taken during the process of refurbishing the throttle bodies of our “Lab Rat” BMW R1200 motorcycle.
What you see here is the first version of the repair kit. After one year of development, the kit was updated to a more user-friendly, safer, and smarter version.
