I think the price is high but they are high quality pieces. ATC shipped them quickly, 5 days to Florida USA. Their communication was excellent. Installation was easy for me. I have a drill press to drill holes in throttle shaft but it could be done with hand drill. Since I am 74 years old I am sure the pulleys will still be working when I am dead and gone. BMW should have done it this way from the factory.

The parts are great, easy install and nice to have that peace of mind. This repair does take a while and you'll need to synchronize the cylinders, overall I'd do it again.
Installed this kit on my R1200GS after finding the original cams cracket. Install went well, just follow the instructions and it'll go together fine. Be sure to drill high pressure/low speed with new bits. It's too bad the cams are hidden after install, would be cool to be able to show the new bling. Also make sure to re-balance your TB's when you're done.
