This is a high-quality Hall-Effect Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) designed as a direct replacement for the OEM sensor used on a wide range of BMW and Ducati motorcycles. It accurately measures the throttle valve position and provides a stable, reliable signal to the engine control unit (ECU).

Built with improved materials and sealed in a weather-resistant ASA housing, this sensor offers superior durability, vibration resistance, and long service life compared to traditional contact-based sensors.

Material Description – ASA Housing

The sensor housing is manufactured from ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate), a high-performance thermoplastic designed for long-term outdoor use and harsh environments. ASA housing is also with integrated reinforcement stainless steel bushings for safe and secure mounting against over-tightening and vibration-related stress.

 ASA is known for its:

• Excellent UV resistance – it does not degrade or discolor from prolonged sun exposure, making it ideal for automotive and motorcycle applications.
• High heat resistance – it can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 90–100°C, with peak resistance around 105°C, ensuring performance near hot engine components.
• Superior dimensional stability – the housing retains its shape and mechanical strength even under stress and thermal cycling.
• Good chemical resistance – resistant to oils, fuels, and road contaminants.
• Weatherability – perfect for components exposed to rain, snow, dust, and vibration.

The matte black finish offers a factory-like appearance while maintaining high durability and a professional look. ASA is also resistant to cracking and deformation, ensuring that the enclosure protects the Hall-effect sensor throughout its lifespan
