Repair kit contents

1x Holder for front sproket wheel, fastening element 2xM5 Grade12.9 and 1xM8 Grade10.5 + flat stainless steel washers + NordLock securing washers.

Material

Sproket wheel holder is made of Aluminum alloy 6082 T6 is a medium strength alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. It has the highest strength of the 6000 series alloys. Applications of 6082 is typically used in: Highly stressed applications, Trusses, Bridges, Cranes, Transport applications, Ore skips.

Coating/Finish surface

The ready machined parts goes through electrochemical anodization process to improve the durability of the aluminium alloy , after which color is added for aesthetics.

Ducati Scrambler front sprocket fix - superb

Having had my Scrambler for 4 years now it began to get the common issue with the front sprocket that many owners seem to have had. Age related or not or chain not adjusted correctly ....whatever causes it if indeed it is these but the retainer washer just self destructs. This kit completely solves the issue with the front sprocket. Mine is a 2019 bike and I believe I have read that Ducati have solved it on the next gen bikes - 2024 onwards? Any way get one if you haven't already and are having these issues - well get one anyway as it saves potential harm to your beloved steed. Ride safe everyone.

Ducati Monster 796 2010 Sprocket retainer

This is a great product. I too had the problem of the original ridiculously bad designed retaining plate constantly breaking and the chain ripping into my swinging arm. I fitted the item using the loctite it came with. The two retaining bolts holding the sprocket are still tight. The centre bolt actually came loose and that with a torque of 25 lbs ft. I decided to remove it and clean all off and degrease and this time I used Loctite 271, the red one and tightened to 35 lbs ft. So far it is still tight and in place and I've done over 200 miles at different speeds and acceleration. The two bolts fastening the sprocket and still tight as well. Fingers crossed it will all be good now. Can't recommend this product high enough. Service and communication was top notch as was delivery, Within a couple of days from Bulgaria to UK. Thanks
