Repair kit for retaining front spoket wheel.

Repair kit contents

1x Holder for front sproket wheel, fastening element 2xM5 Grade12.9 and 1xM8  Grade10.5 + shim, all  bolts are high strength steel.

Material

Sproket wheel holder is made of Aluminum alloy 6082 T6 is a medium strength alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. It has the highest strength of the 6000 series alloys. Applications of 6082 is typically used in: Highly stressed applications, Trusses, Bridges, Cranes, Transport applications, Ore skips. 

Coating/Finish surface

The ready machined parts goes through electrochemical anodization process (25 microns Marine coat for marine applications i.e window frames within a few hundred meters of the sea or those in geothermal areas ) to improve the durability of the aluminium alloy , after which color is added for aesthetics. 

Instalation

Fast and easy installation.

1.Remove the cover of the front sproket wheel.

2.Disassemble the OEM sproket retaining plate.

3.Before adding the thread lock, wash thoroughly with spray degreaser. It could be engine degreaser, carburetor cleaner, etc. Wipe the threads dry with a rag.

4.Apply thread locker. Keep the sprocket wheel in place and install the aluminium part by fixing the bolts by hand. After that tighten the bolts.

5.Suggested torque for tightening [Nm] M5 - 6 Nm ; M8 - 22/25 Nm.
